Wantlist x All Black Everything

Fall is just around the corner and although I'm sad to say goodbye to Summer, I'm beyond thrilled to start layering, pull out my trusty boots and wear all the cute warm coats. While I was doing a little pre-Fall browsing on ASOS, I stumbled upon this adorable classic borg denim jacket, I instantly had to create a perfect fall look and included a wrap over tee, ripped jeans, cute statement necklace, backpackOf course these classic 1460 smooth Dr Martens complete the look, and they're available at Union Jack BootsThese are all currently sitting in my cart and I'm hoping to get myself a few new early birthday presents. ;) Anything you're currently lusting over for the Fall?

I've had a hectic past 10 days, I had to leave to Hong Kong on an impromptu trip with my Dad and it has been super stressful. I love Hong Kong and it was definitely nice to be back after not visiting for the past 12 years. Being so busy it was 1. impossible to actually use the computer (especially when I visited my Cousin in Macau) and 2. it was extremely difficult taking my own photos, props to everyone who does it cause I was extremely incapable. It was also very difficult to find any locations that we're not packed with a billion people who thought a tripod with a camera was bothersome. Thus, I ended up only taking two outfit photos with both of them being on the terrace of our apartment. I tried to pack really light and versatile pieces, I needed outfits that I could both wear walking around during the day but still cute enough for when we went out to eat. I packed a couple dresses, one of them being this Paisley Lace Skater Dress ($46) from Suzy Shier+!
I think it's super adorable and I wore it when we went up to visit The Peak and have dinner as well as taking the ferry over to Macau, China. I paired it with my crystal necklace, pink blazer and a pair of fake toms I picked up since I only packed sandals and my feet were dying over the amount of walking I had to do. The weather is also extremely hot there, I had to tie up my hair every day and was literally melting, It was pretty chilly at night especially up the mountains so I was always sure to pack a sweater of some sort. I found out I'm leaving for LA Tuesday morning so the resting at home will be short lived. I'm planning on packing another Suzy Shier+ dress and I'm hoping I won't be as busy this trip (most likely not but hey - I can dream) and will actually be able to shoot some proper pics!

Totally Clueless

Spring is technically just right around the corner sadly, I have a pretty strong feeling Toronto will not be seeing Spring for quite a bit of time. It is finally starting to warm up, but just a bit. I'm anticipating the day I can be able to live in shorts and dresses again!

Last week I wasn't brave enough to venture outside sans pants so Chris ended up taking photos of me inside while we watched Clueless which thus, made sense with my ~*totally clueless*~ outfit vibez.
He also thought it would be fun to play around with his new green music light which I must admit, was pretty fun. Sorry for the terribz quality, the sun had already started setting so lighting was not ideal.

Missguided Plus

junarose missguided plus
It was freezing outside on Saturday and although the weather said it was going to be a snowstorm, it actually was just a ton of snow that then turned into rain later on in the day. I attempted at taking some photos outside but it was just too terribz so, we ended up taking some inside at this basement loft space downtown.

I've been a longtime fan of Missguided! Up until recently I could only purchase their accessories/shoes and dream over their gorgeous pieces. Not anymore my friends, they now have a plus line and I'm loving it so far! I picked up a few pieces a few weeks ago and I can't wait to share them all with you! I'm wearing their selfie slogan tee, it's super comfy. I paired it with my Junarose check coatigan, my leggings and velvet skirt from forever21+ ( seriously such a steal for $10), my thrifted gold cuff, black new look boots, my new fave necklace from h&m and of course my favourite "I want to be a mermaid" beanie!

What are your thoughts on Missguided+ line? Any pieces you must have???

We Love Colors Review!

Valeria from We Love Colors was kind enough to send me some tights to review!
For those of you who don't know, We Love Colors sells a variety of awesome plus size tights in 51 colors!
I love the tights they're super opaque and don't become sheer in some spots like other tights.
They're extremely soft, They sent me the Plus Size Nylon/Lycra Tights in Lilac and Light Pink, I got mine in a size a/b and they fit perfectly(they never fall down like other tights).
I think the color is perfect too, super vibrant.
They have a huge variety of different colored tights plus other item.
The tights are not too thin but not too thick either, it's awesome because I was warm enough to be outside for a bit in them before I got cold(it's currently -14°) but I know I'll wear the second pair in the spring/summer and not be melting!
Be sure to pull the bottom of the tights up because they're super stretchy and appear more opaque.
I've always been a never wear pants kind of girl, so tights and leggings have pretty much been a wardrobe staple forever, I love finding good quality tights and these are definitely one of the best!
They can even endure the claws of two puppies and a big dog and still come out with no tears!
Are these tights worth it?? I definitely think yes!; Shipping was really quick, they're worth the cost(I would have payed $3 less for the tights I get from fast fashion stores every winter, which inevitably get ruined after the season), quality is amazing, fit is great, opaque and super comfortable!
 Would I buy them?
Of course!! Pastel Mint, Maroon, Mint Green, Black and Peach are definitely next on my list!

so far above the cloudless sky

I went downtown last weekend for a nice stroll, Jayson had to take some photos for his friends so they decided on meeting around Queen and Bathurst.
It's getting pretty chilly now so thus, busted out my awesome coat I snagged at Big Deal Toronto from Sadia for only $30! :)
Growing up in Toronto i've become pretty accustomed to the awesome street art pretty much everywhere. Roaming downtown I always see a huge amount of nice ones.
I also have recently just purchased a few pairs of jeans(if you know me, you would know I never ever ever wear jeans) and for once i'm actually super excited!!!! I've honestly always hated wearing pants because they feel restricting or they just didn't look right, but now i've found 3 pairs that I totally love and i'm going to show you all very soon.

  • Coat ASOS
  • Top and Skirt New Look
  • Bag Forever21
  • Leggings and Boots Thrift
I love this one, I saw it at Kensington Market as well
if you didn't know, our mayor is apparently a crack head

how can i fuck with the fun again, when i'm known.

Despite the hectiness we took a trip to Niagara Falls this weekend after Sarah, Markuz, Jayson and I finished work Friday night, we got there at about 9:30 and bought a fun pass and played games, rode rides and went through museums it was a lot of fun.
I took a few photos of two outfits; what I wore Friday night going up there, and what I wore leaving on Saturday.
I got this fun denim jacket from Forever21, and both the skull print t-shirt dress and galaxy kimono style top from ASOS.
I'm thinking about hemming the skull print t-shirt dress a little bit shorter but i'm not sure yet, what do you think?

but my head's filling up fast with the wicked games, up in flames.

With the final days of summer approaching what could have been more appropriate than CNE to finish it off?
I went to the CNE 3 times this summer, for those of you who don't know what it is, it is basically a giant fun place downtown that they close off from middle of august till the end of summer.
There's lot's of food, fun, shopping, midway games and rides!!
It's probably my favourite place to be in the summer, there's just so much to do and so much fun to be had there!! Everyone go next summer!!
It was so much fun, Jayson and I went on the skylift ride(we're both deathly afraid of heights) I won't lie I was holding onto the bar the whole time and had to try very hard to be calm.
I also finally got a Tuxedo Sam plushie!!!
I've wanted it for 3 years but only a few games had it//we're the extremely difficult games.
Anyways I finally made my first order from Modcloth,
i'm a little sad because I wish I upsized on this dress, didn't realize they ran a little small I just wanted a looser fit, it's still super cute nonetheless. I also bought a top, the necklace in this outfit, and they had a cool nightlight that looked like it would make your room all starry and night sky.. but it totally didn't work :'(
