Svelte Review!

A little while ago I was sent some Svelte Skinny Jeans and fell in love! Initially I had been debating on trying out the jeans or leggings and after much debate, opted to go for the jeans (I have a million skin tight leggings, very few jeans that can do the same). Based off their size chart and being told to size down, I thought I went with the best possible size but I actually think I could have sized down two sizes! Regardless, I loved the fit of the jeans, normally compression anything is fairly uncomfortable but these ones were actually totally okay, I was able to go out and about with my day without any discomfort (which usually doesn't happen when i'm wearing compression anything). My only complaint with the denim was the legs, disclaimer, I already find it hella difficult for me to find jeans that are super tight all the way, I was hopeful this wouldn't be the case with Svelte but sadly, they were still too loose and a little long for me. I ended up cuffing them twice and was content that although not skin tight, they we're just about right! Overall, I'd give Svelte a 8/10, if they could get the jeans fit down pact I'd definitely live in these all year round.

comfy~casual but practical

I've been living in turtlenecks/high neck tops for the past 6 months (what can I say, it's a work staple) and as soon as I saw this jumper from Junarose I knew I found a new piece to pair with said standard tops. I decided on pairing it with a sparkly one from H&M and my fave boots from New Look. This has now become one of my favorite go-to work outfits since it's so comfy~casual but still practical if that makes sense?

 I fell in love with this top the moment I saw it on Lazy Oaf, I knew it had to be mine, so much so that I ordered it right away (unlike what happened with the Lazy Oaf x Esther collection! :'( ). I'm highly anticipating Spring and with any glimpse of better weather, I opt to pretend it really is Spring and wear anything/everything not weather appropriate.  The top is long enough to be a short dress or tunic length but I decided to wear it with my bowler hat, grid leggings, corduroy shorts, and boots.

queen of hearts

 Sorry for my late Valentine's Day look but, I'm the Queen of Hearts any day/every day anyways (just kidding) but, I do love anything with hearts on it and that's how it ended up being kind of hard for me to decide what to wear this Valentine's Day. I ended up choosing my burgundy coat from Junarose (which is now 30% off!) paired with a burgundy bralette, disco pants, black boots and my fave heart choker! Maybe next year I'll be super extra and try to do something crazy like 14 days of Valentine's Day looks, wouldn't that be fun?~*~

Summer Set with Society+

I fell in love with this adorable Jessica Kane set from Society+, I knew it needed to be mine and was thrilled when they reached out to see if I'd like to style a few pieces back in June. I was so excited to try the crop top (available in black, navy and red) on, it's been one of my wardrobe staples since! I felt super feminine and decided to pair the set with a floral choker, holographic shell bag, and holographic heels. I felt super ~*angelic, forest fairy, mermaid*~? If that even makes sense? Doesn't matter, I loved it.

Holographic Chibi Moon!

As some of you may or may not I'm a huuuuuge Sailor Moon fan!!! Like that was my life as a child, I use to have practically everything Sailor Moon but somehow over time (aka my parents deciding everything is garbage and throwing it out) I lost majority of it. :'(

Festival Season

It's Festival Season!!! Junarose sent me a few pieces to style a fun festival look and this is what I came up with using their Lace Trim Kimono and Suede Skirt, I was worried the skirt would be too warm but it's surprisingly not too bad. Since it's always really warm/sometimes deathly hot during festival season, I opted to not wear a top. Instead, I wore a bralette (sold out, available in white here) underneath the airy kimono and used some of my crystal accessories. I feel like the look came together exactly how I wanted too. At the end of the day I ended up wishing I really was at a festival (WayHome this Summer ^__^)!

Why I Love Denim Culottes!

 When I saw these Denim Culottes on Yours Clothing a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't quite sure how I felt about them. On one hand I love culottes, and Yours Clothing was where I got my first pair! However, the stock photo did it no justice which made me think about how a lot of my favourite pieces looked blah or whatever in stock photos and/or on the hangers yet, are now my favourite pieces and if I hadn't just went for my sometimes ~*compulsive decisions*~ I wouldn't have these wonderful things. This, in turn, wavered my feelings towards seeing all the potential in these denim culottes and trusting my initial gut instinct which was that I thought they looked very interesting, and I'm so happy I did! They're super comfortable, not a heavy denim, not super tight or clingy (like regular denim), really airy and actually looks like regular culottes, unlike a few different pairs I've tried on before. I can't wait to wear them in the Summer, the outfit ideas are endless since they're literally the comfiest and nicest denim pants to wear! I paired it with the Lace Bardot Top, and some ~*~mermaid accessories~*~!!
