Carmakoma Kadina Dress

Carmakoma Kadina Dress I've been in love with the Carmakoma Kadina Dress since the moment I saw it last year at the Carmakoma SS15 Preview (check it out here), then again, I'm in love with every Carmakoma piece that drops. I received it back when it was still too cold for me to bust out and then sat in my closet until the warmer months rolled around. I actually brought it with me back in April when I was in Hong Kong but, it ironically ended up being too hot for me to wear there.

Thus, once I came home mid-May I threw it into my regular rotation rack (aka my main rack that holds all my current fave things)! I seriously love this dress! I was stunned with how flattering the fit was seeing as I typically tend to stay away from tight dresses. The dress fits perfectly and I'm obsessed with the side stitching! I decided to pair it with my Carmakoma wrap belt, flower necklace from H&M, and my fave heels from New Look! I seriously love this dress and I can't wait to come home and wear it all through Fall (it was too hot in Hong Kong for me to bring it along)! Food| Sala Thai in Langham Place

Sala Thai Langham Place Mong Kok Hong Kong The weather has been really rainy and murky this past week, which has resulted in tiresome trips outside (aka my dad refusing to leave the apartment). Today was different, I'm assuming he realized we can't stay holed up in the apartment any longer. We ventured to Mong Kok once the rain stopped this morning. As soon as we arrived it started pouring so, we quickly ran into Langham Place, a giant mall with one of my new fave stores, Monki (I wish they'd come to Canada *insert praying hands emoji*). After spending a decent amount of time browsing and shopping, we decided to get something to eat.

We all agreed on getting some Thai food and ended up at Sala Thai on the 8th floor of Langham Place. Two things I really loved about this place were 1. the menus (I loved the cute newspaper menus)!!! and 2. the mason jars all the drinks came in!  I love Thai food and I've eaten at quite a few different Thai restaurants back home, I have never encountered these delicious drinks we tried; Roselle Flower Drink, Lemongrass Honey Ginger Tea, Lychee, and Tea (although it didn't look or taste like any tea we've encountered). We all we're craving noodles and decided to get a few appetizers to split amongst us. Everything came pretty quickly and overall it was really good! It ended up being about $75 Canadian and we got 4 appetizers, 4 drinks, and 4 noodles, pretty decent if you ask me! Overall, I'd definitely come back and grab some noodles!

Super Casual

I fell in love with this transformable vest I saw at an Addition Elle preview last year, I fell in love with and somehow have yet to share it on the blog. I've worn it a ton of times since acquiring it, I mean, they're so many ways to wear it how could I not wear it constantly? I'm thinking of doing a post on just this beautiful vest in all the ways I can wear it, what do you think?

I paired it with a pair of denim jeans I was gifted from Fashion to Figure (similar here), espadrilles from my cousin, and a necklace from Forever21.This is a super casual look aka, what I would typically wear on a normal day. I can't even imagine wearing this right now in Hong Kong, I'm barely surviving in tank tops and shorts every day.fashion to figure jeans plus size fashion transformable vest addition elle fashion to figure jeans plus size fashion transformable vest addition elle fashion to figure jeans plus size fashion transformable vest addition elle fashion to figure jeans plus size fashion transformable vest addition elle

70's Vibez with Pink Clove!

I'm baaack! If you we're wondering what happened to me the past few weeks (no I did not just vanish), long story short, I ended up getting a ton of water spilt all over my MacBook while I was in Macau *insert crying emojiz*!!! I was devastated and so upset, especially since I was amidst my 100 Days of Summer! Luckily, my cousin said she would be able to get it fixed, but it would a. take some time, and I would b. have to come back to Macau to get it. I was more concerned with having lost my whole memory seeing as literally exactly this time last year I killed my MacBook this way and it was not possible to retrieve my files. Thankfully, this was not the case this time and I'm back for good!!!

This dilemma definitely threw my schedule off track so I'm pretty behind on a ton of posts but, I thought for my first post I'd share my fun ~*70's Vibez*~ look I shot a couple weeks ago! I'm wearing the gorgeous Lulu 70's Floral Bell Sleeve Swing Dress from Pink Clove! I always tend to size up when I'm trying something for the first time and I definitely could have sized down (it's okay, a little tlc in the dryer will make it perfect). I paired it with my vintage pearl necklace, fun bag from beebz, and iridescent shoes. I'm in love with this look and I can't wait to frolic through the forest in this outfit again sometime soon!
