No more Winter Woes

I am starting to finally appreciate the winter oddly enough, if even just a little bit.
I love wearing layers, and I've bought a beanie in practically every colour this winter.
I also think I may be appreciating it now, since the weather has finally shifted.
These photos are a little late, seeing as I took them two weekends ago when it was still practically freezing in Toronto.
The temperature was above negative the past few days and oh boy did I take advantage of it!
I really missed not having to wear pants/tights/ or leggings.

This outfit is made up of mostly Forever21, I took advantage of there recent 50% off sale, sale and bought this awesome coat. I seriously think they may possibly be one of my favourite stores, I always find such awesome things including this skirt and boots I got back when Forever21+ was Faith 21 and are still a wardrobe staple.

I feel like 2014 is the best year!! I'm just feeling super positive and have all these good vibes~*~~*~*~
But really, this year is going to be amazing, and it's only been 13 days in and i'm 100% convinced that this will be a fantastic year!!

04. Twinsies x Cats

This Twinsies post is long overdue!
We actually had two really awesome outfits to share over the Winter Holidays buut, Jess and I kinda sorta loafted, and then it got too dark, so we just ended up having to skip them. :(

It's okay though because I went to Jess' last weekend!
We spent majority of the time playing Adventure Time and Stella Ella Ola!! So much fun!
We decided on wearing our Galaxy Cat Shirts, because we love cats.. and why not?
Perfect outfit for lounging around and playing games all day.

Jess and I have something special planned ahead and I can't wait to share it with you all!
We're going to start working on it this weekend so hopefully I can share it soon, i'm bursting with excitement! Whee~~

Velvet Harem Pants!

While shopping downtown on boxing day I happened to stop by Urban Outfitters which was having an amazing sale(50% off of sale!).

Perusing through the ton of sale racks I found quite an awesome haul of stuff, included in that haul were the most beautiful ecote diamond meadows velvet harem pants, which are currently on sale! I picked them up for $10 and managed to grab a ton of things for under $50, this sweater included. I've been so incredibly happy with my recent purchases that I can't stop wearing them and/or creating outfits with all my new things.

Anyways I fell even more in love with these beautiful pants once I went home and created a ton of looks.... naturally it led to to me purchasing a pair in every colour.... I put quite a bit of thought into purchasing them all because I normally don't buy the same thing in multiple colours unless I really like it, and oh boy do I really really love these pants. They're just so simple and easy to pair with practically everything, I know they're going to be my go to pair of pants for the next while atleast.

Our house officially got power back this afternoon!! whooo pretty much a whole week without power drove everyone in the house insane but it's okay cause we survived! ^____^

We Love Colors Review!

Valeria from We Love Colors was kind enough to send me some tights to review!

For those of you who don't know, We Love Colors sells a variety of awesome plus size tights in 51 colors! 

I love the tights they're super opaque and don't become sheer in some spots like other tights.

They're extremely soft, They sent me the Plus Size Nylon/Lycra Tights in Lilac and Light Pink, I got mine in a size a/b and they fit perfectly(they never fall down like other tights).

I think the color is perfect too, super vibrant.

 They have a huge variety of different colored tights plus other item.  

The tights are not too thin but not too thick either, it's awesome because I was warm enough to be outside for a bit in them before I got cold(it's currently -14°) but I know I'll wear the second pair in the spring/summer and not be melting!

Be sure to pull the bottom of the tights up because they're super stretchy and appear more opaque.

I've always been a never wear pants kind of girl, so tights and leggings have pretty much been a wardrobe staple forever, I love finding good quality tights and these are definitely one of the best!

They can even endure the claws of two puppies and a big dog and still come out with no tears!

Are these tights worth it?? I definitely think yes!; Shipping was really quick, they're worth the cost(I would have payed $3 less for the tights I get from fast fashion stores every winter, which inevitably get ruined after the season), quality is amazing, fit is great, opaque and super comfortable!

 Would I buy them?

 Of course!! Pastel Mint, Maroon, Mint Green, Black and Peach are definitely next on my list!

is this all there is?

This post is long overdue but i've been dealing with some personal issues for the past month, and wasn't able to find the time or inspiration to post. I am trying my super best to be a fairly active but i've been having a pretty shit time for the past few months, i'm trying my best to stay positive.

I am excited, scared, and kinda nervous about the upcoming changes.

So I really just wanted to say sorry for the overdue posts and please bare with me till I can get things under control.

I've been taking care of a litter of baby schnauzers!!! I love them so much, but they are seriously such a handful, they wake me up all day/night long and need me to play or feed or take care of them... it's kinda sorta like what I assume taking care of children are but it feels so hard sometimes, the puppies are now 5 weeks old!!(i've been taking care of them since they were 2.5 weeks old) They use to not even be able to move, only to eat and sleep and now they're running allover the place, and crying for me to come play with them. I love them all so so much and i'm extremely scared for when i'll have to part with them. They've become such a huge comfort and my full responsibility for the past while so it will be weird not having them anymore.

Anyways besides all that I haven't really been up to much, and i've tried my hardest not to really do anything since it's getting pretty cold and I can't be away from my house/babies too long.

So last weekend I had to go to the store to get puppy goodies and then visited Jaysons friend's and family, thus took some photos in the lobby before heading up.

I saw this fun shirt on New Look maybe in the spring? can't quite remember, ended up passing on it, to only later find it at Big Deal Toronto and got it for $10 from Sadia!!!

It's so comfy and I always tied up the bottom in the warmer weather.

I got this awesome ASOS Curve Cardigan in fuzzy ombre it's currently on sale for $39.99!!

it's just a reflektor

This weekend I went to Midnight MRKT! Basically a pop up night market pairing music, drinks and street style food with local retailers, thus came out to support my best pal Hilary of Opal Doily !!
She makes handcrafted jewelry and is definitely one of the most artistic people I know, I'm in love with her wood burning necklaces, so she's going to make me a custom one once I can figure out what I want it to say, hehe.
She also designed her own logos and I love them!! Recycled Pig logo, which happened to slice her hand while we were taking these pictures.
It was super cute, and I purchased a really awesome necklace from one of the stands!
I wish I could have stayed longer, but I really enjoyed the time I spent there.

This week has been really tiring and long and I can't wait for the weekend!!

This weekend the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) opens!!!

I seriously love going! I've went every summer for the past 3 summers; yummy foods, rides, games and it's just seriously my fave, everyone should go!! 

So this week works really caught up on me, and now Jayson works just as much as me(no one can take my photos even if I am home).

Part 1 of my ASOS order has arrived; inside was this lovely blue lace skater skirt and a ton of fun dresses.

I'm thinking about selling some stuff on ASOS marketplace, has anyone done this before? 

If so what should I expect?

This crop top is from H&M, they've made like a ton in different styles, so i've ended up having around 5 different ones. I'm in love with them, but since i've gained some weight since i've gotten them they're a little more snug, and that's ok weight fluctuates and that's normal and healthy and fine. 

Anyways there's really not much for me say at the moment, life has been pretty boring haha.

This week has been pretty hectic to sum it all up it was my grandpas 75th birthday, visited my twin Jessica Masil who I haven't seen in forever, went to Ribfest with my niece, went shopping and lastly Jaysons cousins Mercy's debut(basically big 18th celebration)
Anyways the debut was at a community centre which was at the old skatepark I use to go to back in high school it was really fun and I took some pictures in this cool perfectly hidden spot and I saw all these cute debut stuff like 18 roses and candles and fun performances. 
It was super exciting because I just bought this dress a little while back from New Look

when they were having a sale, I got it for only $8 and never had a chance to wear it so the debut made it perfect since it's pretty summery and not super fancy but not too normal either also if you haven't noticed i've been totally obsessed with this flowy shawl thing and my oil slick necklaces (I honestly made so many of them and now can't part with a whole bunch cause I love them too much, I've been giving them out to friends/sold some at Big Deal Toronto but if you're interested in getting one feel free to contact me) pretty much has to be one of my favourite purchases &adiy fun and I wear them practically all the time since they are awesome layering pieces for me.
