Easter Pastels

Sorry for disappearing again! After arriving home two weeks ago I had pretty bad jetlag for the first week and then came down with an awful cold. Thankfully, I'm finally starting to feel a bit better! I can't believe it's already Spring!! Here in Toronto, the weather's been really iffy since I've come home, some day's it's absolutely freezing and I can't bear to be outside for more than a minute and other days it's sunny and beautiful and actually feels like Spring!

 Easter weekend was actually pretty nice and I spent most of my weekend hanging out with my family! I felt extra festive Easter morning and decided to let my ~*easter pastel baby*~ free and dress up! I paired my mesh skirt with a nude tank, nude heels, a furry pink clutch and my favourite little colourful blazer that I picked up at Marks and Spencer whilst in Hong Kong over the Summer. I felt like it all fit perfectly together and my family appreciated my festive spirit!~

A Week in Modamix| Friday

For my final Modamix look, I saved the best for last, the gorgeous Angelica Floral Sheath Dress!!!
It was love at first sight and I was stoked to pack it with me, it's been a life saver for any of the fancier places we've went too. I honestly didn't pack much with me - I learned my lesson last time whilst trying to bring my stuff back home (4 luggages and 2 giant boxes shipped back).
The dress is super light, doesn't wrinkle - huge bonus in my book, and can be dressed both up and down! I've enjoyed sharing all these gorgeous Modamix pieces with ya'll be sure to check out all their pieces available here! Let me know which outfit was your favourite???

A Week in Modamix| Thursday

One of my favourite places to visit everytime I come to Hong Kong is the Jamia Mosque, it's really close to my house and it's so beautiful and peaceful no matter when I stop by (which is a nice break given how busy the streets right outside that gate are at all times). I'm also madly in love with the colour scheme in there (I'm hopeful I'll get a chance to go back and take a few more photos). I decided it would be nice to go for a little visit whilst wearing my Lyla Cold Shoulder Top from Modamix, an old floral skirt (similar here, here and here), my new fave choker, and my classic heels (old, similar here). Sorry for the repeat of shoes friends, I only brought these and my sneakers haha.

A Week in Modamix| Wednesday

Another very common thing in Hong Kong is people decked out in athletic wear most times of the day, granted, seeing as how you're constantly doing so much walking in a day it makes sense.
I've been pushing myself this trip to continuously walk to different parts of Hong Kong Island that I haven't been too before and I've been loving it! That's why last Wednesday when I went for a good 4-hour walk I decided to put on my new Leah Honeycomb Mesh Bomber from Modamix, which is definitely my most worn item from the pieces Modamix sent me (I've been wearing it every night for my night walks).

A Week in Modamix| Tuesday

One of the things I've noticed over my many trips to Hong Kong was how normal it is to be wearing business suits/business attire all the time. I thought it was pretty weird at first when I saw my Dad wearing suits and dress shoes daily (even when it was 90% humidity and 44 degrees outside), I then came to realize that this was actually quite common and learned the hard way when I was waaay underdressed for a few meetings over the Summer. This time around, I told myself I would not let that be the case and packed the Amelia Striped Crepe Top, Zara Cigarette Ankle Pants  and, Cobalt Blazer (similar here) from Modamix as my go-to business casual look! I ended up wearing this last Tuesday for a meeting and I felt super ~*profesh*~ yet, still very much me.
