Svelte Review!

A little while ago I was sent some Svelte Skinny Jeans and fell in love! Initially I had been debating on trying out the jeans or leggings and after much debate, opted to go for the jeans (I have a million skin tight leggings, very few jeans that can do the same). Based off their size chart and being told to size down, I thought I went with the best possible size but I actually think I could have sized down two sizes! Regardless, I loved the fit of the jeans, normally compression anything is fairly uncomfortable but these ones were actually totally okay, I was able to go out and about with my day without any discomfort (which usually doesn't happen when i'm wearing compression anything). My only complaint with the denim was the legs, disclaimer, I already find it hella difficult for me to find jeans that are super tight all the way, I was hopeful this wouldn't be the case with Svelte but sadly, they were still too loose and a little long for me. I ended up cuffing them twice and was content that although not skin tight, they we're just about right! Overall, I'd give Svelte a 8/10, if they could get the jeans fit down pact I'd definitely live in these all year round.

First weekend of September always feels like a bittersweet goodbye to Summer, it's also always my last weekend to get any of my incomplete Summer goals off the list! I managed to get one last good hike out and oddly enough opted to wear something different for this hike. I decided to swap out the running shorts and Nikes for a more feminine and breezy look (it was also 28 degrees and I didn't feel like sweating all day).

This Summer hasn't felt like Summer, I mean I normally complain about the weather but this year it's been pretty pathetic, to say the least. If it hasn't been raining, it's been cold (i.e. it was 6 degrees last week). This past weekend has been amazing, it was sunny and warm and only ended up raining a teeny bit. I made sure to spend some time out in the sun and absorb all that warmth before it goes away again.
It felt like a daydream lounging out in the glorious ~*~Sun~*~

I am not Sorry

I've been MIA .... again! I'd say sorry but I am not Sorry! I've had a lot on my plate, the past 12 months have been a whirlwind of different things and I let this part of my life slip, I intended on posting this 5 months ago but, every time I tried to start I was instantly overwhelmed thinking about how I was to explain myself and the reality is, I don't need to.

I've been busy, overall my life has had a drastic change over this past year and I really don't owe anyone anything. Fuck an apology, I am not Sorry. side note: I still love you all and I appreciate ya'll hanging in with me💖. I'm excited for the upcoming ideas and projects I'm working on aaand if I disappear here and there, rest assured, I will be back.

I've been MIA for way too long (update post coming soon) but I've come out of hiding to share this gorgeous Windowpane Skirt from eShakti with ya'll! The cool thing about eShakti is that you can customize all of their pieces in some way! I decided to make alterations to this midi skirt and make it into an above knee skirt which then made it into the perfect piece for work and hang times afterwards. I decided to pair the skirt with a plain turtleneck, black bomber, black sequin boots, an intergalactic necklace and my fun patch backpack.

Summer Set with Society+

I fell in love with this adorable Jessica Kane set from Society+, I knew it needed to be mine and was thrilled when they reached out to see if I'd like to style a few pieces back in June. I was so excited to try the crop top (available in black, navy and red) on, it's been one of my wardrobe staples since! I felt super feminine and decided to pair the set with a floral choker, holographic shell bag, and holographic heels. I felt super ~*angelic, forest fairy, mermaid*~? If that even makes sense? Doesn't matter, I loved it.

 I had to take a little hiatus from blogging for the past (almost) two months, I was feeling overwhelmed with life (in general) and it was nearly impossible for me to get any posts out. I have a plethora of photos from before and even during this hiatus. I'm finally starting to feel human again and I'm making it a goal to get all of these photos out, sorry again for being m.i.a ~*~

Starting with this look from Simply Be, I wore their sleeveless split detail tunic with their ripped denim (sold out, similar here) and paired it with a floral necklace and my fave white boots. It was perfect for a nice family dinner then a stroll through the park back in May!

Festival Season

It's Festival Season!!! Junarose sent me a few pieces to style a fun festival look and this is what I came up with using their Lace Trim Kimono and Suede Skirt, I was worried the skirt would be too warm but it's surprisingly not too bad. Since it's always really warm/sometimes deathly hot during festival season, I opted to not wear a top. Instead, I wore a bralette (sold out, available in white here) underneath the airy kimono and used some of my crystal accessories. I feel like the look came together exactly how I wanted too. At the end of the day I ended up wishing I really was at a festival (WayHome this Summer ^__^)!
