Jumping for Jumpsuits

For the third day of NYFW, my bae Allie finally arrived after a much-delayed flight. We grabbed some delicious shawarma down the street from our apartment before heading out on an ~*~adventure~*~.

I ended up wearing my new Lace and Mesh Jumpsuit from Charlotte Russe Plus and paired it with a floral necklace from H&M, my grid bag from Urban Outfitters, and cut out heels from Aldo. I'm loving this jumpsuit, it's super cute/adorable while also being classy/fancy enough for more formal events. It's funny because I'm not typically much of  a jumpsuit fan but, after trying this one on, I'm definitely going to be giving them more of a chance.
What are your thoughts on jumpsuits? Yay or Nay?

NYFW Day 2!

Sorry for my little hiatus, my blog got all messed up (some of you may have noticed if you tried to view it within the last week), and I hadn't wanted to post with it looking so awful. Everything's finally up and running and I have so many posts to share, starting with NYFW!

I spent the second day in nyc, doing a little bit of retail damage at Hey Gorgeous, since they were having a sample sale (ya'll know I can't stay away from those). I ended up coming home with so many gorgeous pieces from them, I can't wait to share them with you all!

Afterwards, I met up with my bae Sarah of Curvily and went to a Zoya event before we headed to the Chromat SS16 Momentum show!! I was seriously so stoked to be going to the show, you have no idea, I was literally screaming when I got an invite a few days before lol. Afterwards, Sarah and I grabbed some yummy Pad Thai close by before I needed to head home and knockout.

 I'm finally back from NYFW! It was seriously amazing and I'm already sad that I'm gone. I love NYC and I got to spend a full week this time which was pretty spectacular. I successfully figured out the subway and travelling from point a to b (with some wonderful tips from all my NY friends). I really wish I could move there, I've never fallen so in love with a city before. I mean, I've always loved nyc but after spending a week there exploring, eating delicious meals under $10, making new friends, lil retail therapy here and there and just really adventuring, I truly can say I've fallen in love.

I ended up staying (most of the time at least) at a cute apartment right beside 96th station. The proximity of the subway was definitely what had won me over initially. When I arrived last Thursday I fell in LOVE with the apartment and I really mean in love, it was super adorable and filled completely with cute vintage things. I literally wanted to buy her floral wardrobe, then realized it would be practically impossible to bring home.

I spent my first day in nyc getting settled in, heading to Target to buy a steamer and then getting ready for the Hey Gorgeous event (which I will be sharing sometime soon). I was gifted a few pieces from Junarose, one of my fave Danish companies to bring along on my trip and I ended up wearing this adorable green pleated dress to the Hey Gorgeous event since they also happen to carry Junarose! I was really feeling myself while getting ready since the bedroom has a really beautiful green vibe going on and I myself felt pretty vintagey thus, had to shoot this look in that gorgeous room.
