Junarose Faux Fur Jacket

Another Danish brand I'm obsessed with is Junarose! Junarose sadly doesn't currently ship to Canada (they are in the process of changing this!), but not to fret since they are carried in The Bay, ASOS and a ton of plus size boutiques here in Toronto! I fell in love with Junarose sometime earlier last year and haven't been able to stop myself from adding more and more pieces into my closet. The moment I laid eyes on this jacket I knew I had to have it. I didn't know how (since none of the boutiques/the bay didn't carry it), but I knew somehow, it would be mine. I even ended up reaching out to the Canadian Junarose representative to see if she could get ahold of one, sadly she could not.

Junarose saved the day when I won their #JunaroseMyWay contest last month! This jacket was no longer up on the site, but they had known how much I had been lusting over it and sent it along. I'm in love with all my pieces and can't wait to share them with all of you! I paired the faux fur jacket with my "make it happen" cropped sweater, boots, and disco pants from New Look. I had a specific idea in mind of how I wanted to shoot this coat and although Christopher was initially disagreeing (due to lighting and him wanting to go outside in the snowstorm) after he saw Jayson nail the lighting he totally understood my vision. I felt pretty angelic x bird baby if that makes any sense?

Carmakoma FW15

This time last week I was in New York City! I went down for a couple of days with Jayson and Erica of Erica Exposed. I fell in love with nyc when I was 17 and haven't stopped visiting since. Every visit thus far has been extremely short (a max of 4 days sadly) and this time was no different. I can't wait to actually spend some time there this Summer and go exploring! I got to check out Carmakoma's FW15 Collection on Monday and I was hella impressed - as usual!

I checked out their SS15 Collection last NYFW and was in love, the pieces are dropping now and I cannot wait to get my hands on them! I'm a huge Carmakoma fan, I love the fit, the designs and just how everything is structured so well. I'm anticipating Nordstrom's opening so much more now (Carmakoma will be carried in Nordstrom, which means no more guess ordering things - I get to actually try them on now ^___^)!

The event was held at The Copenhagen which was quite fitting with this Danish brand. I got to try some interesting and delicious Danish appetizers whilst checking out the amazing collection. I've got my eyes on quite a few things, definitely getting a coat or two (I can never really have enough of those), matching bejeweled set, a couple dresses, and a few sweaters! I'd honestly buy everything if I could. I know that I'm stoked for grueling winter to finally be over but, checking out the FW15 Collection made me dream about Fall!

04. Sunday Steals

Winter feels never ending here in Toronto thus, started looking at Spring items to cheer me up!
Spring is one of my all time favourite seasons. I get so stoked knowing that soon the snow will melt, the eternal freeze will end and I can be frolicking around in pastels and skirts (sans leggings) again. I'm so over the; dry skin, winter boots, salt stains, jackets, and the endless amounts of daily layering.
I always start early Spring shopping around the end of February, I always make sure to get a few new pairs of sunglasses, lots of cute sandals, iridescent jewelry, swimsuits and pastel colored clothes!

This past Friday I got to meet the stunning mega babe Ashley Graham at Addition Elle for the launch of her Spring 2015 collection. I was super stoked to meet her, she was seriously so nice and it was so awesome to finally get to meet her and have the chance to chat with her.

I was also able to catch up with a ton of blogger babes and do a little bit of shopping. I was still in pre-Valentines Day mode and was wearing another one of my shades of pink ensembles. Which happened to be my pink blazer, furry clutch and black boots from New Look, pink rosette skirt from River Island, conversation hearts tee from Jac Vanek and a necklace from Topshop. I fell in love with this gorgeous black bodysuit from the collection but sadly they ran out of my size. :( I am now determined to go on a hunt to all the AE's in Scarbz to find it.

I had such a great evening seeing friends, shopping, and meeting Ashley, of course!

03. Sunday Steals

Lately, I cannot help but gravitate straight towards the home sales! I've been really good at not recklessly spending my money thus far, but I can't help but look at cute home items since Jayson and I have decided to move. I cannot wait for more space we've been storing all our furniture/things for moving out at the cottage and it's starting to have an alarming amount of things we're going to have to bring back when we move. We've figured out how much space we want/need and I'm super stoked to finally have my own office!

Any good sales you spotted this week? Any home decor store you can recommend me to check out?

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!! I got decked out in an obnoxious amount of pink the other day and asked my friend Chris to shoot some photos for me.  I'm not going to lie,  every year around Valentine's day I get all decked out in pink and red during the week. I also love making cards!! Last year I found a ton of hilarious ones and gave them out. This year I used all my special printed papers and spent some time making really fun ones. ^__^

This year I'm not too sure what we'll be doing, but we decided not to go crazy since we have a lot of things to get done today.  I got a new pink furry top from H&M a couple of weeks ago and decided to pair it with my velvet skirt from River Island, conversation heart bag from Aldo, flower necklace from Your Big Sister's Closet and wedges from PLNDR.

I've been sticking to neutrals for the past couple of weeks. It definitely has to do with the weather, when all you see are shades of grey, white, black and the occasional slushy muck on a daily basis it kinda makes you (or me at least) want to blend in. Thus, I came up with this ~*ombré*~ look.

You may remember this coat from a certain Elegant British Brands by Jacques Vert preview I went to during the Summer. I fell in love with the Windsmoor Collarless Ombre Coat instantly, I knew it had to be mine. I decided to pair it with my Carmakoma salsa short top, necklace and boots from New Look and my fave skort from Forever21.
