Ipsy Bag August 2014

My August Ipsy bag arrived in the mail a few days ago! For those of you who don't know Ipsy is a beauty bag monthly subscription! I've been a huge fan since I joined a year ago, it costs $10 a month plus shipping but it's totally worth it! You get about 4-5 samples in each bag based off a quiz you take when you join letting Ipsy know what products/brands you like.
I really liked everything in this months bag except for the Lord & Berry eyeliner since I haven't had a chance to use it yet(sadly it melted on it's travel to me and I have to really sharpen it to get any of the actual eyeliner). My favourite was definitely the Urban Decay mascara and the blush set(I seriously love blush so much, can't wait for fall to come so I can start wearing it everyday)! I definitely think it's worth it to try out new beauty products monthly(especially for anyone like me who doesn't normally venture our of our own personal beauty faves) and for only $10! I love this lip balm it's super delicious and I love the cute sparkles in it that don't show up on my lips haha. This is my new favorite primer! It gives my face this lovely matte finish! I think I'll be changing this to my new go to mascara! I seriously loved it(I'm also just a little bit biased since Urban Decay has been my brand of choice for eyeliner for like 5 years). I love blush! I haven't had the chance to use these yet because I only wear blush during the Fall/Winter(my face will either just sweat it off or it will look too extra during the spring/summer sadly). Haven't had the chance to use this yet since it melted :'( This months cute bag!

Starlooks Starbox Beatuy Box Subscription Review

So for everyone who may not know, I am totally in love with Starlooks.
I have been a fan ever since I got this Gem Eye Pencil in 'Deja Vu' from my monthly Ipsy Bag and then immediately bought one in every colour.. What can I say? I was sold as soon as it went on so smoothly/perfectly.

With the beautiful Gem Eye Pencils and then trying the Longwear Lipstick in 'Timeless', and both being completely amazing, I was just completely sold when I saw the Starlooks Starbox Beauty Box Subscription.
It costs $25 +shipping if your outside of the US, but I felt it was completely justifiable after trying out their incredible products.
I started my subscription in December and received my first box a few days before Christmas, I was pretty ecstatic to recieve the New Year's Eve 2014 15 Shade Shadow Palette, needless to say my sister and I have been using it quite a bit and we just love the shades(also the 15 Shade Shadow Palette retails at $99)!

My second Starbox was just as amazing, the January Starbox was kind of a random goody box seeing as the email for the box stated that all items would be different/random, they also stated what was up with shipping. I must not have read the initial information because they tell you they ship the boxes within the 3rd or 4th week of the month, so even though I got my first box by the 3rd week, they regularly ship them out much later(I had no idea so I was really worried it got lost in the mail haha) only downside was that being in Canada meant it came much slower. I actually received my box sometime early last week, but it was totally worth it once I saw what was inside!
Inside the January Starbox was a Longwear Eyeliner Pot in 'Milky Way', Tendergloss in 'Puzzy', an Eyebrow/Eyelash Brush and Two Natalie Corona Infinity Lip Color in 'Endless' and 'Eons'(no longer available).
I loved every item, especially being such a huge lipstick fan, getting three that looked really good on me made my day.
Anyways, I really really love Starlooks the only downside is that it takes ten years to ship but, the products totally make up for the wait!

ps. totally sorry about the terrible photos, my basement has absolutely the worst lighting(I actually had to stand on a stool and put this on the plant windowsill to get any natural non orange light) and my computer is too messed up for any editing... must get a new macbook soon :(

Murale Fab and Free

I recently purchased a few things from Murale, they are currently having there Fab and Free deal which is basically spend over $125, and get $288 worth of stuff. I thought it was a really good deal and realized that I wanted quite a few new things anyways, so it made perfect sense to shop!

Thus my little makeup haul!

I am absolutely in love with the things I purchased, they are amazing and although this was one of my most recent pricey purchases(I rarely spend money on makeup) I am so happy I did!

I purchased the Matte FX Oil Absorbing Powder, Benefit Double the Real, Benefit Fake up, Stila Convertible Lip and Cheek Color in Poppy and Deborah Lippmann Wicked Game.

Packaged things

Benefit Fake Up Concealer, I really love this because it's so easy to use(I use it everyday now) and it also moisturizes your skin which is essential!

Benefit Double the Real Mascara, this is great probably the best mascara i've ever used, it actually makes my short eyelashes more noticeable.

Stila Convertible lip and cheek color in Poppy, I've also been using this on the daily! I love it because the colour is so great on both my lips and cheeks, this is probably the most used out of my purchases.

Deborah Lippmann Wicked Game Nailpolish

Matte FX Oil Absorbing Powder, I really like this one because I have super shiny skin so this helps tone down the shine of my skin a loooooooot.

This is the bag that came with the Fab and Free deal, it's a pretty convenient makeup bag for me since it can carry so much.
