Carmakoma Radley Dress

As you may know, I'm in loveeee with Danish brand Carmakoma!!! I cannot get enough of their super stylish and incredibly well structured pieces! After checking out their SS15 collection - which I've been dying to get my hands on, I can't seem to get enough. Their are so many pieces I want in my closet asap!

Carmakoma was kind enough to send me a few things and I'm seriously in love with everything!
I'm wearing their Radley dress and it's super adorable!!! I normally don't wear animal prints, but this one was just too cute! I also love the mesh top and leather straps, I love the little details on everything they make.

I already had a photo idea in my mind as soon as this dress arrived. I took Jayson with me to my favorite place ever and felt so calm relaxing by the water. I'm pretty happy that Fall this year has been ridiculously mild thus far. Fingers crossed it will continue so that I won't have to bust out my fall coat anytime soon.

Soooo I haven't been the best at updating lately ~*whoops*~ but, I have a very good reason for this.
I've started working at Your Big Sister's Closet!!! I absolutely love helping people find clothes they love. It's funny because most people I know absolutely hate retail but I've surprising always kinda had a mostly love, sometimes hate relationship when it comes to working with my favorite thing ever - clothes!!! I seriously love my job and on top of that Karen and Peter are the best bosses I've ever had!♥

They are sponsoring this years 3rd annual BIG Deal Toronto!!! For those of you who may not know, BIG Deal is pretty much when Toronto's top plus size fashion bloggers gather for a one-day-only pop-up closet sale. I'm super stoked to be participating again, you can read all about last years event here. It's actually extremely beneficial for me since I happen to have a clothes hoarding problem... and it gets out of control incredibly fast (aka I have so many things I haven't worn/brand new with tags that need to stop cluttering space). NYFW Pt 1; Carmakoma

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to be able to head down to New York for a few days during NYFW! Although it was a massive hell to get Jayson and I's express passport (i.e. got denied 4 times, took about 6 trips and 12 hours wasted, etc.), we did it and we we're so incredibly ecstatic to go! Ford Canada was nice enough to lend us the 2014 Ford Focus Titanium! We went with Karen of Curvy Canadian and Peter, who coincidentally has family living in the Bronx which meant we had somewhere to stay!

We loaded the car up early on Sunday and then headed down for our long adventurous roadtrip! We indulged on bulk barn snacks and spent the next 9 hours trying to keep each other awake. There were a few hilarious ~*pleas*~ to stop at Scranton to check it out but sadly we just didn't have enough time (don't worry Karen I promise I'll be better with the convincing next time) ;). We finally arrived and Peter's family was nice enough to let us indulge on their delicious Italian food!!!

The next day, we started off our morning all getting ready for the big day ahead of us and then grabbed some delicious breakfast at Breads Bakery. Afterwards Karen and I got our hair done at DryBar where we ran into Nicolette Mason, I decided to go with the fun Mai Tai and Karen chose gorgeous braids. We then headed down to the Carmakoma SS15 Preview! I am in loveeee with everything!!! The Danish brand makes sure all pieces are incredibly structured and just so well made. I also found out Rikke of Sticky Sweet Danish is their social media girl, I was super stoked to finally get to meet her! I got to try on a ton of pieces and I need so many pieces asap! I also had a total fangirl moment when I got to meet my blogger idol Gabi of Gabi Fresh!!!
