I fell in loveeeeeee with the Addition Elle High-Low Chambray Skirt when I laid eyes on it back in February at the AE summer'14 preview.
I knew it had to get in my wardrobe asap, and was anticipating sooo hard for the day it came out(I'm not even over exaggerating, you have no idea how many times I would either tell Jayson or Jess I needed it nowww and pretty much everytime I went into Addition Elle I would ask the closest sales associate if they knew when it would come out haha).
It's been perfect for the Spring(although as of yesterday it seems as if Summer has already hit), I can pair it with pretty much any top and it's super comfy!

Your Big Sister's Closet Victorian Tea Party!

Last Sunday Your Big Sister's Closet hosted an amazing Victorian tea party for the Victoria Day long weekend! I was so excited to attend because;
a) I've actually never attended a tea party before! b) I finally had somewhere to wear my beautiful Modcloth dress too! and c) I got to see a ton of my body positive babes♥

Everything was actually perfect; the delicious pastries from Patricia's Cake Creations, all the antique teapots/teacups/dishes, Alex's delicious handmade sandwiches(her sweat, blood and tears definitely made it extra delicious), and just all the small well put together details that made it so cute!

07. Twinsies x Maxi Skirts

This is the most overdue Twinsies post!!! We actually had a lot of cross coordinating outfits since our last post but, somehow we never managed to actually take any photos.. soooo here is our most recent twinsies outfit!
We are wearing our black long sleeve crop tops with our fun maxi skirts! I'm really really stoked for our upcoming summer plans! I'm suppose to keep it a secret buut I'll give you all a little hint, it involves literally 6 bags of clothes, endless amounts of shoes/makeup/accessories, anddddd two weeks... try and guess what we're up too!

The other day I went to my boyfriends baby brothers confirmation. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first seeing as I haven't went to church in about 6 years.. even while going to a catholic high school(I honestly have no idea how I managed to skip mass all the time).
I don't consider myself really religious as I feel I have still yet to find something I believe in. I strongly believe in the good morals and some of the things I was taught, but I also can just as strongly disagree with quite a few things. It felt really odd at first but, I actually really enjoyed and appreciated the mass, I also loved all the happiness/joy/positivity flowing out from everyone especially all the children getting confirmed!

I cannot believe a year has flown by since my first official post for Clothes and Shit!
For those of you who may not know, I created my blog back in 2010 when I felt inspired by other plus size bloggers to create my own private little space to keep track and watch my style change and grow.  I would update with odd ramblings(that only I can fully understand haha) and blurry/shitty quality cell photos(I apologize to anyone who may have or will come across those silly, stupid posts).
After encouragement from friends and loved ones I decided last Spring to make my highschool/memory/style blog into something more and decided to unveil Clothes and Shit.

I have learned so much in the past year and I'm so so incredibly happy with everything that's come from starting my little blog; the amazing people I've met and all the new friends I've made,  wonderful opportunities I would have never had previously, getting into this wonderful body positive community, all the self confidence I've gained(take in I never ever would be caught wearing jeans/any type of hat/not leave the house without makeup and many other things before that I've now overcome), and you; my amazing readers who give me inspiration to continually post.

You have no idea how much it means to me when I go into my email and see emails from amazing readers telling me how my most recent post gave them confidence to go outside and rock a crop top, or on instagram when I get questions asking how would I style ___ etc. It feels good knowing I'm able to help anyone in even just these simple ways.

New Look Black Floral Slim Joggers

Sometimes there are days that I don't feel bothered to put makeup on besides lipstick(of course). Last Saturday happened to be one of those days. It's funny cause there was once a time when I would chose not to leave the house sans makeup. I guess I felt scared? Maybe a little insecure? I'm not even sure, I just felt better hiding behind my makeup I suppose.

Now? Now I feel comfortable in my own skin, I will not second guess myself before leaving, I will not feel pressured that I have to have makeup on to hide behind. It feels great!! I encourage anyone who may feel the way I did to step out of your own self boundaries we sometimes tend to create.

Addition Elle's Ombre Print Maxi Skirt

I purchased Addition Elle's Pull-On Ombre Print Skirt back in March during Addition Elle's Flagship 1 Year Anniversary. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! I just knew I'd need it for the warmer months. I'm so happy I did!! I've worn it so many times since the weathers gotten warmer.
It's just so comfy(since it's banded) and pretty. It has two layers, the black under layer and the sheer ombre print layer overtop. It's extremely versatile, I've been able to mix and match it with so many different tops. Can't wait to share my other ways to wear it post!
