I've been trying not to spend lately and I've gotta say I'm pretty proud that I've been doing pretty well! Digging for treasures in my closet has definitely been helping, due to the way my rooms set up I can only see so many pieces of clothes at once and tend to forget about things or only search through the main visible rack. I've got so many fun pieces to wear once the weather gets better!I stumbled upon my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell Lita's (aka the beginning of my obsession with all JC shoes♥) in the deepest corner of my closet and I just had to wear them! They were a gift from Jayson on our first Valentine's Day together and I was literally lusting over them so hard. I was feeling a monochromatic look and had to pair it with my gorgeous new Monochrome Abstract Print Dress from ELVi, blazer from Junarose, vintage pearl necklace and iridescent clutch from New Look.

Have you ever woken up, did the daily routine and started sifting through your wardrobe looking for something to wear, and you find a few pieces you know won't work together but you're still kinda adamant that you must wear them? That's me on a daily basis. I find a combination of tops and bottoms that 100% look weird as hell together, but I still kinda sorta want to wear them out still?

I know I seriously always talk about the weather but, I kid you not, it is all I can think about. The weather's been really iffy lately, one day it's -16 the next day it's 8 degrees. I'm definitely getting sick due to the constant fluctuating. Good news though - it's going to be in the positives (and supposedly stay there) after the weekend!!! After hearing the good news and despite it being an extremely cold day still, I ended up getting decked out in some of my fave iridescent pieces! What can I say? It definitely brightens my mood and gets me amped for ~*real*~ 100% Spring weather.

It's official, Spring has Sprung!!! Last weekend Jayson and I decided to check out the beautiful Allan Gardens, let me just say pictures cannot even show you how beautiful and peaceful it is in there. I thought it was the perfect place to shoot my second

It's weird thinking back on the time I wouldn't allow myself to wear anything body conscious. I've definitely come a very long way since my teenage self-hate days. I remember believing my tummy was my worst feature and I refused to wear anything that would even slightly show it off. I was so brainwashed with society's fat stigma that I believed I would never be able to wear anything I wanted, let alone body con skirts or dresses until I "lost the weight".
