I've come to a conclusion as to why I love Spring so much! I've figured out that I conjoint Spring/Summer into one season seeing as here in Canada we spend a huge chunk of every year covered in snow. As soon as official, Spring weather has hit (aka the temperatures are staying above 6) I am decked out in shorts, crop tops, and anything even slightly more warm weather appropriate.

My two fave things are clothes and food, thus any and all cute food related clothing pieces I find - must be mine! That's why over the weekend I decided to dress up in some of my fave food pieces. I picked up this clutch a while ago during one of New Look's fantastic sales and I knew I had to wear it with my donut crop I got a few years ago from Drop Dead. I paired them with my light fake denim skirt and white wedges. I'm overjoyed that the weather's been so fantastic lately, bare legs/tummies 4eva!

Have you ever woken up, did the daily routine and started sifting through your wardrobe looking for something to wear, and you find a few pieces you know won't work together but you're still kinda adamant that you must wear them? That's me on a daily basis. I find a combination of tops and bottoms that 100% look weird as hell together, but I still kinda sorta want to wear them out still?

Thus, yesterday when I was looking for an outfit I decided I definitely wanted to wear my daisy crop sweater and a velvet maxi skirt. I didn't even second guess it (typically I tend to, which leads to a huge majority of my clothes in a pile on the floor lol), I paired them with my fave Penningtons chain which I got as a gift from Erica, my new sandals from Charlotte Russe and headed out.

Am I the only one who ever wants to wear whatever the hell they want on a daily basis? I definitely know there are some days where I have to look more put together (aka put a little more effort into what I wear due to work, events, etc.), but for the most part I just really want to wear certain things even if I'm certain they could have been better outfits, if that makes sense?

Mint x Polka Dots & How I Met My Twin

I realized all i've been writing about is how I live at Jess' house(which of course is where I was when I took these photos) so, I decided instead i'm going to tell all you all the funny story of how Jess and I first became friends.

We both went to school together for Photography and at the start of our first year she came into class everyday wearing a fedora and our teachers started to call her hat girl anyways, hat girl and I we're very alike and didn't really socialize with our super tiny class.
One day I noticed Jess was sitting infront of me on one of those like level seat things and she was lurking all these people in our class on facebook. I was laughing because all the people behind us could see her and she looked like a creep, then when she added me on facebook she went through all my old albums and started liking my old pictures. Anyways one day we we're sitting beside eachother and she was on lookbook and I noticed she was hypeing all these photos of Bianca and I was like "that's Bianca!" and she was like "you know her??" and I was like "yeah we went to elementary together!" and we magically started talking about everything we have in common/has happened to both of us/legit everything the same and became biffle twins, and literally we're never apart and always took the longest breaks at school and everyone hated us. Haha I love my twin. ♥

Anyways, I decided on wearing my favourite mint crop sweater and my new polka dot harem pants from Forever 21+(here and here) and my gold diamond necklace.

Winter's staying strong here in Toronto, and Spring wont be coming for another month sadly. I've been staying warm this winter in sweaters and harem pants. I cannot wait for it to be warm, i'm dreaming of sunshine and summertime.
