Why I Love Denim Culottes!

 When I saw these Denim Culottes on Yours Clothing a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't quite sure how I felt about them. On one hand I love culottes, and Yours Clothing was where I got my first pair! However, the stock photo did it no justice which made me think about how a lot of my favourite pieces looked blah or whatever in stock photos and/or on the hangers yet, are now my favourite pieces and if I hadn't just went for my sometimes ~*compulsive decisions*~ I wouldn't have these wonderful things. This, in turn, wavered my feelings towards seeing all the potential in these denim culottes and trusting my initial gut instinct which was that I thought they looked very interesting, and I'm so happy I did! They're super comfortable, not a heavy denim, not super tight or clingy (like regular denim), really airy and actually looks like regular culottes, unlike a few different pairs I've tried on before. I can't wait to wear them in the Summer, the outfit ideas are endless since they're literally the comfiest and nicest denim pants to wear! I paired it with the Lace Bardot Top, and some ~*~mermaid accessories~*~!!
What are your thoughts on Denim Culottes? Do you love them as much as I now do?

i live in a hologram with you

Last weekend I wanted to wear my new peach shift dress from Yours Clothing, I'm obsessed with the floral cut out hem and wanted to wear it to dinner but the weather was being pretty awful (aka rainy and gross then super sunny and warm for 15 minutes and repeat). I didn't want to let that stop me so I pulled out my holographic raincoat, holographic heels (old, similar here), and my iridescent necklace! I was so happy with how it all came together, I love holographic/shiny/iridescent things and the adorable peach dress underneath made the colour soo pretty! I loved being in a ~*hologram*~!

Caped Out

This look was actually supposed to be a part of Allie and I's twinsie series with Yours Clothing but sadly, we've both been so busy since before the holidays we hadn't had a chance to get together to shoot it. I also knew by the time I came back from Hong Kong the weather would be shifting into Spring, therefore deeming my adorable cape unnecessary. I'm in love with this cape, I ended up buying an almost identical one in white seeing as how I loved it so much, it's just so easy to throw over practically everything. Underneath my cape, I'm wearing their High Neck Swing Dress with Lace Sleeves, a necklace from Urban Outfitters and my fave booties from New Look.

#twinsies| Faux Fur Jackets n Jumpsuits!

For part two of Allie and I's collab with Yours Clothing we decided on these super adorable, super soft faux fur cropped jackets in black and cream (now on sale for $52 and $43!) and these matching culotte jumpsuits! Which we then paired with cute matching perfume bottle purses!

I'm gonna be completely honest, I've been living (i.e. refusing to take it off even when indoors) in this cropped jacket, it's so so soft and fluffy and keeps me surprisingly warm. I'm also a huge fan of culottes thanks to Yours Clothing (who got me on the culotte tip earlier this fall) and I'm looking forward to wearing this jumpsuit in the Spring! #twinsies| Scarlett & Jo Velvet Maxi Dresses from Yours Clothing!

I was beyond stoked to do a #twinsies collab with my babe Allie, we've been planning on doing one for a while and we were beyond stoked when Yours Clothing reached out. I'm already a huge fan of Yours Clothing (see previous posts; 1,2,3,4,5,6) and was so excited to choose some ~*~Holiday themed outfits!!!~*~

We decided on these stunning (like seriously jaw dropping stunning) Velvet Maxi Dresses in Midnight and Cranberry from Scarlett & Jo! They were screaming ~*Holiday*~ at us and we think they're seriously perfect for all your upcoming events (i.e. Holidays, Holiday Parties, New Years, or just so you have a sexy gorgeous dress at all times). We paired them with a grey faux fur stole and a black faux fur stole to give more of a vintage feel.

Day 4 of NYFW was spent exploring Chelsea Market with Allie, then meeting up with Sarah for a lil shopping before a few shows. Afterward, we grabbed some delicious Japanese food, I honestly wish I remembered what it was called because it was mega yammy!!

I ended up shooting these photos when I came back to Toronto since a. it started to rain midday while in nyc and b. since it was raining, I had to adjust a few pieces of my outfit to make it weather appropriate (i.e. sneaks and a backpack to carry my jacket). This outfit is from Yours Clothing, I'm wearing the Black High Waisted Jeans with Ripped Knees paired with this adorable Lilac High Neck Ribbed Sleeveless Top, I accessorized with my cute abstract bag from ASOS, and some jewelry from Charlotte Russe.
